Fitness | How To Dress Properly Yet Fashionably For The Gym

If you are anything like me nothing gets me more motivated to get my workouts in than cute workout clothes. However sometimes the cute clothes aren't so practical ~ sports bras which look cute but don't have enough support anyone? Not a great look when you are jogging (bouncing) down the road!

Here are my favourite pieces from Adidas at JD Sports and Nike which I think are essential items for any fitness bunnies like myself.
Adidas Energy Boost Trainers ~ I love the look of these and I have ogled them in the shop a couple of times. These running trainers are specifically designed to absorb impact which for someone like me who runs 10-20 miles per week these look like my dream trainers! For me a good pair of running trainers are the most important part of your gym or running kit. A well fitting pair of trainers can both enhance performance and prevent injury.

Nike Pro Sports Bra ~ The second most important part of any woman's gym gear is a good sports bra. I have always found that the Nike Pro Sports Bras give great support and they come in a wide range of colours so you can ensure you will always be colour coordinated.

Adidas Essentials Work Out Racetank ~ I love a cute, bright coloured tank. This Adidas tank is perfect for both hitting a spin class and pounding the pavement. I like that this tank is loose enough so that you can tie to it the side to show off those toned abs of yours!

Adidas Response Tights ~ These workout tights are constructed with ClimaLite engineering which wicks away sweat from your skin before it has a chance to take hold. I think that taking the material an item is made from is an essential consideration. Don't forget that you are in that gym to SWEAT so a material which removes the sweat and keeps you comfortable is ideal.

Is cute workout gear a big motivator for you? What are your favourite gym kit essentials?

This is a sponsored post ~ all words are my own.

  1. I love the trainers! I recently got a new pair of Nikes for the bargain price of £26! There is a Nike outlet store about 45minutes away from me and the stuff there is amazing! I tend to go for Puma or Nike trainers and Adidas clothes. As you mentioned, I think they are good for clothes that keep you from getting too sweaty! xox
