Happy Saturday! I hope you are all have a great weekend ~ the sunshine has been amazing today. I got to wear my new denim shorts for the first time :) I had a fab afternoon with my Tone It Up Bikini Series partner Amy ~ @amydusty on Twitter ~ go say hi! We had a wander round the shops and a yummy lunch. So today I thought that I would share with you a lipstick which I purchased recently, as you know I have been trying to have the confidence to pull off a red lipstick more often so when I saw that Rihanna was releasing her version of Ruby Woo I had to have it!

It is the perfect red with blue undertones meaning that it is the perfect red which can be pulled off by anyone. It is a bright classic red with a MAC retro matte finish. Some people find this a bit drying but personally I find it works well as long as you put lip balm on first otherwise it will cling to the dry patches on your lips. It wears well and will stay put on your lips with minimal touch ups all evening. 

I think this is a great shade and it is my new favourite for going out in the evenings. And yes I will be wearing it when I go to see Rihanna in Cardiff in June! I think it is a great retro glam style lipstick ~ think Marilyn Monroe. It's a great shade with a lovely finish and is very flattering.
