I am so excited! Today we booked out tickets for our trip to the USA in June! Yay! We fly out on the 5th to San Francisco and I cannot wait. Let the saving up begin! So this is a post I have been meaning to write for a while but as it is a review I wanted to really try out the product first. I took these photos just after I bought the Hello Flawless foundation so let me tell you it no longer looks as pristine as this!
I have been using this foundation on a pretty much everyday basis since I bought it, I am still using my Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser on days when I don't need as much coverage such as weekends. The packaging is great, it comes with a pump function which allows you to dispense it easily and have very little waste. One full pump usually does my whole face. It has SPF 25 which is amazing especially if you are outdoors a lot or on holiday and it oil free which is great for my combination skin.
I would say this is a buildable light to medium coverage foundation. It leaves a natural looking finish and isn't dewy or matte ~ it is somewhere in between. It is very thin in consistency which can take a little getting used to (so you don't get it on everything but your face!) but it applies beautifully and blends right in with your natural skin tone ~ I am in shade 'Honey' for reference. I like to use my Clarins Beauty Flash Balm as a primer before I apply the foundation as I find it goes on more evenly and stays longer.
Below are a couple of photos so you can see the foundation on my skin.
Overall I highly recommend this foundation and I will be repurchasing it when it eventually runs out. For reference I bought the bottle in August and I have about 1/3 of the bottle left. It is the only foundation I have in my make up collection at the moment!
I'm a massive fan of this foundation, I've nearly finished my first bottle of it at the moment :) And that's so exciting you've booked america, congrats!
