Motivation Monday // Making the Most of Summer!


Happy Motivation Monday girls! Today was going to be a beauty post but I know that a few of you might be in need of a bit of motivation to keep on going through these last two weeks of August. Yes I know the weather has been a bit rubbish in the UK but since when did that stop us all having fun? So here are a few things you can do to get that motivation back and make the most of the summer while it is here!

Plan your meals ~ Always a good one! Make a list of healthy, nutritious food that you want to try and shop and prep! I always find it refreshing to try and new recipe and keep my diet interesting. Why not try my smoothie recipe? It's super easy and a great way to start your day!

Plan something exciting for the weekend ~ A trip to the beach maybe? A long walk in the country? A meal out catching up with friends? Plan something so you have it to look forward to! I am going to a wedding this weekend, I have my dress, I have my shoes and I am ready to dance the night away :) I'm also looking forward to sharing my outfit with you ~ yes you heard me, a rare outfit of the day from me! 

Take some time out for yourself ~ We are all so busy with our lives that we often forget to take time out to gather our thoughts and set our own intentions. Tonight put your phone away, your laptop down and turn off the TV. Cross your legs, burn your favourite scented candle and just sit and clear your head. You'll be surprised at how much better you will sleep!

Wake up early and get your workout in ~ You know I love my early morning workouts! Set your alarm for 30 minutes earlier than normal, get up and get moving! Go for a run, a walk, practice some yoga or do your favourite workout DVD. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it works for you. Trust me, you'll feel smug all day!
