Fitness | Tone It Up Bikini Series Week 7 Update

It's Tuesday again which means it's time for another Bikini Series update post. Wow what a week, the weather has been gorgeous which has meant lots of early morning running. I started off the week with tight calves again but they seem to be pretty much back to normal now after a rest day. I just can't beleive how far everyone has come, it is amazing what you can achieve in 8 weeks. I'm feeling stronger, leaner and faster but I will do a final Bikini Series post next week with a little more detail on that ;)

Running this Sunday ~ oh my gosh! If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen that I decided to run 10k just to see what I could do it in and I surprised even myself ~ 53 minutes and 25 seconds! I knocked my last 10k time out the water! I have been working on keeping a faster pace more consistently and I have to keep reminding myself to push it as I am running. If you run you will know what I mean, often it is such an internal battle with yourself to keep on going and pushing harder. For #100bySummer I am currently standing at 99.72/100. I know I should have just finished it off on Monday but I didn't realise I was quite that close! I will hit my target tomorrow. 

We had friends staying this weekend as we were going to see Rihanna in Cardiff so we decided to have a barbecue on Sunday afternoon. I made lots of yummy Tone It Up recipes ~ ginger sesame chicken, caprese skewers, ginger & lime salmon and a huge salad with hummus. I was really pleased as everyone loved the food and of course we had Babe Pops for dessert! 

For this week I am planning on rocking my workouts, completing #100bySummer and keeping my meals lean, clean and green! I am looking after Matlock over the rest of the week and the weekend so I will be riding more this week as well. I hope the weather stays dry!
