Beauty | May Favourites

It's May Favourites time! I actually forgot to do a beauty favourites last month ~ oops! It's now June and summer is almost upon us. We went away for a lovely weekend in Poole on Friday and Saturday, you might have seen my pictures on Instagram. We couldn't have asked for better weather, it was lovely and a much needed break away! So onto my May favourites...

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Skin Brightening Moisturiser ~ This is my staple day time moisturiser during the warmer months. It has SPF 15, evens out skin tone, sinks into your skin and gives you a natural radiance which I think is the slight shimmer in it. Whatever it is it works for me and goes well underneath my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser. If you are looking for a light weight moisturiser for combination skin I would give this one a try!

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser Oil Free ~ Love, love, love this, it is worth every penny and will be a definite repurchase for me when I run out. I use this every day and it is perfect for the warmer weather. It is lightweight and evens out skin tone perfectly ~ even the redness in my skin. It has SPF 20 which is perfect for wearing in the summer sunshine protecting you from the harmful rays of the sun.

Maybelline Volum' Express The Mega Plush Mascara ~ I've actually only had this a week or so but it has already become a firm favourite of mine. I'm not sure if it is the formula or the flexible brush but it gives you perfect fluttery lashes with no clumps.

Burts Bees Tiger Lily Tinted Lip Balm ~ This is such a great product to use on hot days. It moisturises your lips and gives them a perfect hint of colour. Great to keep in your handbag and applyn throughout the day when you are out and about.

Essie Nail Polish Go Ginza ~ Currently wearing and loving this nail polish. It's a mix between Essie French Affair and Lilacism. It's a great colour for Spring and Summer and suitable to wear to work as well!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer ~ Such a bargain of a product priced at £5.49 and it really does what it says on the tin. It is perfect for brightening up the under eye area and makes me look like I have more sleep than I actually have ;) I need to repurchase this!

What have your favourite beauty products been this month?

  1. Love the sound of the Mega Plush mascara - I actually saw a bad review of it a little while ago and it put me off, as they said it made their lashes really clumpy and no length!? I think I'll have to try it for myself and see, as I'm a fan of long and fluttery, but anything spidery is a no no.
    Hope you're well!

  4. I've been waiting to try Mega Plush mascara for some time now, but I don't know if there's much difference to the Falsies? Anyone knows? The Falsies does a fantastic job for me, so I'm not sure if it'd be silly to switch to this one!

Love reading monthly favourites posts :)
