Today is the day! My self enforced shopping ban is now over! I am happy that I managed to get through this, there were times when I was so tempted to break it but I managed to resist temptation so I am proud of myself :) I have managed to save quite a bit of money, enough to go towards a cheapish week in the sun at least! So I am happy with that as it was my aim.
My shopping ban has been a learning curve. I realise that I got into the habit of buying things just because I wanted to try it out not because I needed it. Especially with beauty products ~ no I don't need yet another cleanser! I still have a lot of products to use up so I am going to make it my mission to use up a product before I buy a replacement. Waste not want not!
I have treated myself to a couple of things post shopping ban, the first being the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser (oil free) which is amazing. I don't think I'll ever use anything else! I also found some super cute workout crops in TK Maxx. I am going to Birmingham in a couple of weeks so I am saving my money until then as I want some money to spend in Forever 21. I also have my cars MOT to pay for in May (boring I know!) so sensible Jayne says save for that too ;)

The dreaded MOT...those are the worst! I've got the normal version of the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and was pretty much living in it until my skin randomly went crazy and hasn't been the same since! Nothing to do with the product though, think it's a hormonal thing.
