Happy April! I'm so glad that it's April, not only does this month mean the end of my shopping ban but it's also the beginning of British Summer Time ~ lighter evenings and mornings ~ and hopefully some better weather on the way. I'm going to have to stock up on the fake tan because I am blindingly pale white! If you have any recommendations let me know in the comments below :) These are my favourites for the month of March.
Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation | Bourjois is my favourite high street brand for foundation and the 123 Perfect doesn't disappoint. This has been the foundation I have been tending to use this month as it gives great coverage and helps to reduce the redness in my skin. I have quite a lot of redness in my skin especially during the colder months where I am super pale. For reference I use shade 52.
Korres Jasmine Lip Butter | I cannot get enough is this lip balm. If you are thinking about picking it up go ahead, you won't regret it! It is a buttery soft balm which leaves a lovely nude pink colour on your lips. I can see myself using this throughout the spring and summer, I have written a full review here.
Clarins Water Purify One Step Cleanser | Clarins has always been a firm favourite of mine for skincare and this cleansing water is a firm favourite at the moment, in fact it is almost gone since I took this photo! I use it to cleanse my skin and remove the remaining traces of make up after I have used a cleanser with water. It removes all traces of dirt and make up while refreshing my skin.
Essie Mint Candy Apple | I love Essie nail polishes and Mint Candy Apple is the perfect shade fr spring time. I have been trying to cheer myself up with this colour to make up for the lack of sunshine. Applies easily and I like the wide brush for application, I just wish that it didn't chip so quickly.
A'Kin Ginko & Chamomile Revitalising Eye Night Creme | This was one of the many skincare goodies I won in my Australian Beauty Box and has become my favourite eye cream. It is soothing and moisturising, gently caring for the delicate skin around your eyes. I certainly notice the difference in my eye area when I use this eye cream. It helps to reduce the dark circles under my eyes, which being pale and blonde will never completely go but this helps! The eye area looks more refreshed and rested, a great eye cream if you are on the look out for one.
What are your March favourites?
I really want to delve into a bit of skincare from Clarins :)
ReplyDeleteEssie Mint Candy Apple is gorgeous, I do not own it but everytime I see it I'm so tempted to just finally pick it up.
I have the 123 Perfect Foundation and I agree it is lovely, I do however prefer the healthy mix serum.
I have just yesterday tried a new fake tan product (new for me) with that being the Palmers gradual tanning moisturiser, it's lovely and I had no streaks! I'm also very pale which I do like however I did decide I was a little too pale :P
