30 Random Facts About Me!

Happy Wednesday girls! This week is flying by for me, thankfully. I have Friday off work so Matt and I are going to go out for the day ~ I am really looking forward to it! Then we are off to London for the weekend to celebrate one of my friends 30th birthdays. Good food, a couple of glasses of wine and lots of shopping to be done. I am sure I will be posting a haul of some kind next week ;) So I thought that today I would join in on the 'Facts About Me' posts which I have seen a lot of people posting lately, I thought it was fun and I wanted to join in! So here goes....

1. I have a degree in Film & Literature

2. I have a horse called Max but he lives back up North with my Mam & Dad :)

3. My first pet was a gorgeous cat called Mitzi. I got her for my 10th birthday and she lived until I was 25!

4. If I could live anywhere in the world it would be California, in a beach house. 

5. My favourite fruit is strawberries ~ I could live on them.

6. I am obsessed with hoodies & Hollister. Hollister hoodies! It's a problem.  

7. I live in shorts and flip flops during the summer. 

8. I travelled the USA with Matt for six and a half weeks in 2006.

9. I broke my arm when I was 15, it was a compound fracture and I now have pins and two plates in my right forearm. 

10. I have a younger brother called Luke. 

11. I love US television shows. I'm currently loving Revenge, The Vampire Diaries and 90210.

12. When I was younger our families Sunday night tradition was watching The Simpsons followed by 90210 and then The X-Files on Sky 1.

13. I grew up watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy and I are the same age so I could relate to her ~ apart from the Vampires. 

14. Whenever we go to TGI Fridays I always get the Franks Hot Sauce Boneless Chicken to start. 

15. My favourite book is The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.

16. I love a good horror film. Ones that make you jump and aren't all about the gore. 

17. My favourite band is Ash and I have seen them five times!

18. The best concert I have been to has to be Linkin Park and Jay-Z at Milton Keynes ~ AMAZING!

19. My parents used to be builders but now they own a B&B in Cumbria. 

20. My Northern accent comes out more when I am surrounded by my family. 

21. I am very emotional. I cry at adverts.

22. My favourite chocolate is Minstrels. 

23. I have a crush on Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. 

24. I am a natural blonde but nowadays I need a helping hand from highlights.

25. I am 1/4 Latvian. 

26. I love the Fast and Furious series of films. Yes even the second one! 

27. My favourite feel good song to dance to is Danza Kuduro by Don Omar ~ it reminds me of holidays :)

28. I'm addicted to green tea. It is my secret weapon to not looking my age. 

29. I haven't yet seen the last season of Gossip Girl ~ shussh don't tell!

30. I am obsessed with Lana Del Rey and I can't wait to see her in May.

  1. I love this post, I'd been thinking if a green tea addiction was possible (i'v drank loads since i stopped smoking this year) When i was little every Sunday was Simpsons on the TV. x

  3. You need to get watching the last series of GG girl it's amazing! I'm so jealous you went to the Linkin Park/Jay-Z concert, you have no idea how much haha :)

  4. I love Green Tea & Strawberries (not together though). I used to love ASH Ive not listened to them for years - I will dig out my albums and have a listen. Bring back some great memories.

  6. Great post, I love reading these as it's nice to see another side to people.
    I also drink gallons of green tea, but I've looked younger than my age ever since I can remember - only now have I reached the age where I can see that that's actually a good thing, and I'm eager to keep things that way, haha.
    I also must agree with you on The Bell Jar - it's my favourite book too :)

  7. You have so many interesting facts about yourself. I like the idea of this post! I too grew up watching Buffy.. It's awesome isn't it?! I've brought all the episodes on DVD and am working my way though them..;-)
