Skincare | Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic

As the weather turns colder my skin needs a little bit more TLC. This is where the Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic face mask has come in -- it really saves the day! This face mask gives your skin a deep cleanse, it is packed full of blueberries which act as a great antioxidant, chamomile to soothe and calm your skin and Irish moss which is softening. It is a clay consistency which as it dries it pull out all those nasty impurities which may be lurking in your pores.

My skin feels calmer, refreshed and brighter after using this face mask. I have found it to be a saviour because as the weather is turns colder my skin goes haywire -- oh the joys of combination skin. The added central heating at work does not do it any favours. So I like to use this face mask in the evenings on freshly cleansed skin to add some goodness back into it. Like all Lush face masks you keep it in the fridge, I love this as it keeps it cool and it feels lovely when you apply it to your skin.

This face mask will be a staple in my skincare routine this winter!

You can purchase Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask for £5.75/ 75g from Lush online or in store.

What is your go-to face mask for the winter months?

  1. I've not tried any Lush products yet, very tempted by this - it looks lovely. I also have combi skin and our air-con at work does not do it any favours whatsoever! x

  2. I wasn't so keen on this unfortunately :-( I only had a sample but I didn't really like the smell and I felt like it left a residue on my face afterwards. Glad it works for you though! xx

  6. I purchased this, but it was only okay to me. I do not like the grey residue it left over for me. I think my favorite from LUSH has to be Cosmetic Warrior. Oatifix breaks me out like there's no tomorrow :(
