It seems to be that time of the month again -- favourites time! I have had a super busy couple of days. I attended the Bristol Fashion Week Live Blogging Show on Friday night (post to follow), I have been looking after my friend's horse Matlock this weekend so I made the most of the nice weather yesterday and went for a really long hack. Then we spent the afternoon at the Swindon outlet centre wandering around the shops. This morning I was up early and out with the horse followed by a Tone It Up workout when I got home and then cleaning! Phew! So as I finally have some time to blog this afternoon I thought I would share my September Favourites with you all.
Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic (£12.50 / 200ml) | I picked this up at the beginning of the month and I have been loving it ever since. I use it morning and evening after cleansing to remove any lingering make up and refresh my skin. It smells absolutely heavenly, wakes you up and cools your skin.
Liz Earle Special Edition Cleanse and Polish (£19.75 / 150ml) | As you can probably tell I am a Liz Earle convert this month when it comes to skincare. I cannot get enough of the Special Edition Cleanse and Polish -- like the original Cleanse and Polish it swiftly removes make up using a warm muslin cloth to 'polish' gently removing the dead skin cells revealing clean, soft skin. I always feel that my skin looks brighter after using this cleanser and I adore the added rose and lavender oils.
Yes To Carrots Gentle Exfoliating Facial Cleanser (£7.64 / 100ml) | I actually found this cleanser in Holland & Barrett of all places. They seem to have revamped their shop up at Cribbs Causeway and now they have a lot of beauty products in there too! I use this cleanser in the mornings to wake up my skin. It is a creamy formula enriched with dead sea minerals and carrot extracts. I love this cleanser and I'd love to try more products from the Yes To range.
Real Techniques Powder Brush (12.99) | This brush is so soft and perfect for applying my bronzer. The finish is smooth and even. You can apply your bronzer or powder with very little effort as it applies flawlessly.
Lush Happy Happy Joy Joy (£9.00 / 100g) | This conditioner is a bit of a luxury as it is pretty pricey! I have been using it through the ends of my hair when I condition it to give it that lovely Lush smell I have written a full review here.
Boots 17 Trio Eye Shadow in Enraged (£5.49) | This is a beautiful eye shadow from Boots 17 and it great value for money! This is perfect for an everyday eye with a slight shimmer. It is a good size to throwing into your travel make up bag for on the go!
NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna (24.00) | I use this everyday -- it warms up my skin tone, shapes my face and just makes me feel like my make up is 'finished'. Perfect for even the palest of skin I cannot recommend this bronzer enough -- definitely a 'holy grail' product for me!
Bourjois Kohl Contour Shadow Light in Kaki & Vanile (£5.49) | This duel ended eyeliner is such a great idea! The kaki shade is a matte green colour which is perfect for lining the eyes and the vanile shadow is a gold with a slight shimmer which is used to highlight and accent the eyes. They are super easy to use and I find that that kaki colour really brings out the blue of my eyes. Great value for money priced at only £5.49 -- I think this is a great dupe for the high end duel eyeliners.
What products have you been loving this month?
