OM Yoga // What's your Affirmation?

Happy Wednesday beautiful readers! I have spent yesterday organising my new life, designing flyers for my yoga classes, updating my YouTube channel for new and exciting things, planning classes for the week and reading through the latest edition of OM Yoga Magazine on my tablet. I came across the article 'What's your affirmation' which got me thinking about how I have used affirmations throughout this past year, and how I believe they have helped me shape my life.

Now I promise that I am not getting all hippy dippy on you so stay with me :) As you know I am a huge Gabrielle Bernstein fan and I truly believe that her books have helped me along my path from unconfident office girl to leading a class of 35 yoga teacher. Affirmations are the use of a carefully formatted statement to practice positive thinking and self empowerment. A positive mental attitude supported by affirmations can allow you to achieve success in anything.

Affirmations can be very powerful and a truly believe that they can help you lead the life you dream of. Set an intention during your yoga practice. Use that intention to power yourself through your day. when things in life are sent to try you come back to that intention. You will find that the universe has it's way of letting you know that you are on the right track. Be a lover of light, shine everyday and the universe will shine that light back to you.

'When I do more of what opens my heart, the universe supports my inspired energy'.

'Be the lighthouse'.
