Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm // My Thoughts

Hello! Happy Saturday :) I hope you are having a fab weekend. I am catching up on sleep, on yoga and just enjoying the little things in life. Today I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm.

Firstly as soon as I opened up the pot I was met by the most incredible smell, it smells really fresh and natural giving a smoothing and relaxing experience as you work the cleanser into your skin. It is silky and smooth to apply, you only need the smallest amount of product for your whole face. I warm it in my hands first and then gently press it into my skin working it into my lashes and lids as well. I have eyes on the more sensitive side and I have not experienced any stinging or irritation so that's a big thumbs up!

The balm contains Moringa Seed Extract, Wild Sea Fennel and Vitamin E to purify the skin and minimise open pores. Orange, Neroli and Mandarin extracts to rejuvenate and revitalise and Jasmine, Cedarwood and Rose to help re-hydrate and re-condition dry or dull skin. The balm breaks down all traces of make up easily leaving your skin feeling soft and refreshed. Now I must admit that prior to using this cleansing balm I had got a little lazy with my skincare, rather than a proper cleanse in the evening I was using a micellar water to take off my make up... not good! So I noticed a huge difference in my skin in just a couple of days of using the cleansing balm.

I have found that the cleansing balm leaves my skin feeling so moisturised after use that I could get away with not using a face cream afterwards. So if you suffer from really oily skin this might not be the product for you. However it is perfect for my combination skin.

Along with the balm was a dual action cloth which is kinda like a posh flannel! I use it to remove the balm and make sure my skin is fully buffed and cleansed. I much prefer this flannel style cloth over the muslin cloths you usually get with cleansers.

Now this is on the pricey side but I truly believe you get what you pay for when it comes to skincare. If you are thinking about buying this product and are umming and ahhing because of the £36 price tag wait until a discount code pops into your email box. I managed to save around £7 when I made the purchase plus I clicked the link through a cash-back website. Can we say Yay! for savvy shopping?
