I have been really into dark nail polish recently. I'm just drawn to the deep plums and reds! I spotted this bottle of Rimmel Black Cherry nail polish in Sainsbury for only £1. I think they had reduced them just because the label was missing from the bottle, so of course I had to pop it in my basket.
As you can see the colour is a perfect dark purple. It took two coats for me to obtain the colour I wanted and the polish dried really quickly. I'm just so impatient when painting me nails so this was a huge bonus for me. I actually took these pictures two days after I had painted my nails, these when through a yoga class with inversions and a 10 mile run so you can see it really does last!
I will certainly be picking up some more colours from the Rimmel lasting finish collection as we head into the spring and - perhaps a nice lilac!
This is a lovely colour :) I like these types of shades. £1 was a bargain, I've seen a few reduced Rimmel products in the supermarkets lately, they must be having a change round.
