Hello again! It seems like a while since I last wrote up a post, almost a week in fact, but I am back with an exciting post. I was lucky enough to be invited to have a preview of Benefit's newly released 'Lollitint' at the House of Fraser in Bristol last night. It was refreshing to be able to attend a blogger event as so often they are based in London. So a big thank you to the lovely girls at Benefit for hosting!
I was nervous as this was my first blogger event but I was excited to meet all the lovely beauty bloggers ~ Claire, Holly, Emma and Carly. We were introduced to the newly launched Lollitint. Although it has been out in the US for a little while it was released this week in the UK. This is a candy-orchid tint which has a gel based formula giving the cheeks and lips a pop of colour. It is very unlike anything else in the Benefit range and certainly a colour I can see becoming very popular in the Spring and Summer months.
It is a true stain formula. I swatched some onto my hand and it did not budge until I took it off with make up remover later in the evening. It is also very buildable so it is versatile enough to use for both day and night time looks. I think it would be great for summer, especially when you are running around in the hot sun as I often am (when we get sunshine that is!). Perfect for taking with me on holiday. Simply pop a few dots on your cheeks, blend with a blush brush and you are good to go for the day.
Overall I had a fantastic evening, it was lovely to meet everyone and get to know Benefit more as a brand. I am looking forward to the next event!
You can purchase Lollitint online or at the counter for £24.50. Have you tried Lollitint yet? I'd love to know your thoughts!
This seems like a really nice product, I like the name of it too! :)
