Nails // Barry M Gelly High Shine Nail Paint ~ Papaya

I haven't tried Barry M Nail Paints before but after hearing so many good things about them I decided to pick a couple up to try. I usually stick to more neutral tones and pale pinks on my nails so I thought it would be fun to try a bright coral for summer.

This is Barry M's Gelly High Shine formula in Papaya, a gorgeous coral orange. The formula is made so that your nails look like gel nails which I think after two coats is a pretty good description. Apart from the fact that of course my nails are far too short! The consistency is thick and super opaque, I wasn't keen on the small brush but once I got the hang of it the polish applied quite well. They have a lovely shiny finish and dry quickly, I didn't apply a top coat but you could to help prevent chipping and prolong wear time.

I think that for £3.99 these are pretty good polishes and Boots have them on buy one get one half price at the moment ~ a good excuse to try some summer nail colours!

What are you currently wearing on your nails?
