Marc Jacobs Honey

I'm back to work tomorrow after my lovely long weekend at home in Cumbria, boo! Time just went far too quickly. I did however have a nice relaxing time, caught up with family, saw my brothers new house which is a proper 'fixer upper' just outside Penrith and will be featured on TV in the Autumn if you are interested! So on our way back from Cumbria we decided to stop off at the Trafford Centre on the way to break up the journey and have a wander round the shops. While walking through Boots I spotted the tester for the new Marc Jacobs Honey and had to give it a try!

Apologies for the stock photo of the bottle as I haven't actually purchased it myself (possible birthday present?!) yet but none the less I thought you might like to hear my thoughts on it. I love nothing more than to wander into Boots or any department store and have a sniff of all the expensive perfumes. Marc Jacobs has always been a favourite of mine with Daisy Eau So Fresh being one of my go to everyday perfumes.

Firstly, how cute is the bottle? I love arranging my perfume bottles on my chest of drawers and a pretty bottle is a must have for me. Honey is a subtle summer fragrance which is light and floral. It isn't overpowering at all and I think that the honey base notes are perfect ~ sweet but not sickly. The staying power is fantastic and lasts 6-8 hours on me without the need for a top up.

Have you tried Marc Jacobs Honey? What is your favourite summer fragrance?
