Beauty // My Make Up Storage

I haven't got a huge make up collection, although my love of lip products does seem to be getting out of hand lately ~ there are many lip glosses, lip balms and lip sticks in numerous hand bags. I ought to round them all up really! However, over all my make up collection isn't huge, I tend to use a product up and then replace it. Sensible really I guess! I used to store my make up in a huge wash bag which I kept in my bedside table. It wasn't the best way of storing it as things would get grubby easily and I'd often forget I had something so when we were in Selfrdiges in Manchester I picked up a couple of storage containers from Muji. 

I now have a set of two drawers in my bedside table which holds foundation, concealer and tinted moisturiser in the bottom draw. Blush, bronzer and cream eye shawdows in the top drawer. The on the top I place palettes and powder which won't go in the drawers. This gives me easy access to my make up when I am in a rush of a morning I know exactly where something is. Much easier!

On top of my chest of drawers I have a second Muji container which holds my brushes, mascara and lip products. I always like to top up my lip gloss before I leave the house so this storage provides easy access, I can slick on some gloss and put the product back without it going missing in between. 

When we move house I would love to get a proper dressing table but at the moment we just don't have the room! Something to plan for and add pretty pictures to my Pinterest boards though!
