Left: Mega Plush | Right: The Falsies |
Starting with the brushes as you can see above The Falsies has a smaller curved brush than The Mega Plush brush. Personally I prefer using The Mega Plush one as I feel it coats my lashes easier and although it is large it is easy to use. I also like that it is flexible brush as I feel that this helps to prevent the mascara from clumping on the lashes.
Formula wise again The Mega Plush comes up top for me. It is a gel mousse mascara which has 40% less hard waxes than a conventional mascara formula. As a girl with naturally long lashes I find that it doesn't flake and smudge like other mascaras I have used, including The Falsies. I find that The Falsies has a tendency to clump and flake. As you can see in the photo above The Mega Plush is on the left and it shows my lashes to be long, fluttery and separated. The Falsies mascara on the right has clumped causing my lashes to appear shorter.
So for me personally I love The Mega Plush Mascara ~ hands down it is the best for me. Both mascaras are priced at £7.99 so they won't break the bank. Have you tried both of these mascaras? Which is your favourite?
That is great timing, I was looking at these online today, I need a new mascara & was going to get the Falsies one, then decided I'd wait & check what the brush was like, I've given away 2 mascaras because I hate those thin brushes! This has made up my mind now! PS - have you ever tried Essence mascara?
ReplyDeleteThe mega plush looks much better doesn't it :) I have quite long eyelashes too and I have found that the Boots Natural Collection Mascara for just £1.99 is really good. I'd try it as for such a good price there's no harm in it :)
