Hair | Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray

I bought this a while ago, used it a couple of times and then forgot about it because I didn't really know how to use it in my hair. I am huge fan of beachy hair so I wanted to get my hands on a sea salt spray. I ummed and ahhed for ages but in the end I went for the popular Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray. I'm not going to lie, at £8.50 for 50ml this is pricey and I thought long and hard about it before parting with my money.

Now I will admit I am not the best at styling my own hair, so I can't achieve the coveted beachy waves however, I love to use this for adding texture and volume to my hair. Especially on day two hair when it is looking a little lacklustre and flat. I use a few sprays on dry hair and scrunch it up for extra volume and that beachy un-done style which I love. I really like the salty smell, it reminds me of holidays :) I think I will get more use out of this once the weather heats up and it is going to be a holiday must have for me.

Is it worth the price tag? I am still unsure. Once my shopping ban is over I will be picking up some other sea salt sprays to compare. I am intrigued by both the Lee Stafford Beach Babe Sea Salt Spray and the Toni Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray ~ both of which you get three times the product for less than the price of the Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray.

Do you have a favourite sea salt spray?

  3. I have both the Toni & Guy and the Lee Stafford salt sprays. Both are good but I prefer the T&G spray as it definitely gives a better beachy look in my hair which is very long and very thick! Lee Stafford one smells gorge but it can be a bit sticky on the hair if you spray too much so use it sparingly! Really want to try the Bumble & Bumble, but Im on a shopping ban too and have enough salt spray to last probably through summer! Shoppping bans are HARD!

    1. Ahh thank you, I think the T&G one would be a good one to try for me then as my hair is long & heavy. Shopping Bans are hard! Especially when pay day rolls around x
