Hello! If you hadn't guessed I've been away in London for the weekend. Now to those of you who live or work there this isn't so thrilling but for someone who visits her capital city once in a blue moon it's exciting! We went on the train on Saturday morning and stayed in a little hotel near Hyde Park. The fitness bunny in me loved this because it meant I could go for a run on Sunday morning in the park. I loved it as I had no traffic to negotiate ~ bliss! We took a walk round the park on Saturday afternoon just after we checked into the hotel so I thought I would share a few photos with you. As it was a flying visit we didn't go to any landmark places, unless you count the Victoria's Secret store! I really should have taken some photos in there but I didn't want to seem like too much of a tourist ;)
So on Sunday I did some major damage to my savings account, but that's what savings are for right? Since I visited Victoria's Secret of course I bought underwear. It isn't usually something I would show on my blog but it is just so pretty I thought I would make an exception here. After all we all look at it online and in stores right? For anyone wondering the PINK range is 5 pairs of knickers for £20, which is pretty average for something decent. The bra I bought was around the £30 mark, again not horrendous. Not super cheap but not as expensive as I was expecting if I am perfectly honest. I also picked up some cropped joggers which are super comfy! I have been after a pair for a while so I thought ~ why not?!
I also visited Gilly Hicks which is one of my favourite stores. I love all the Abercrombie brands and to be honest I could easily kit out my whole wardrobe in their stores! I picked up a cute tank top which has lace detailing on the back. I think it will look great on a night out or paired with shorts on a sunny day. I also picked up a basic navy blue plunge bra which at £15 was a good deal. They fit great and I love the thin straps as you can wear off the shoulder t-shirts under them and it's not obvious it is a bra strap. Lastly I got an oversized sweater which is comfy and cute at the same time, perfect for throwing over a t-shirt and shorts in that lovely hot summer we will be having ~ positive thinking!
Just for fun and for my fellow fitness lovers out there here is my instagram picture from my Sunday Runday!
Due to my London spending spree I will be going on a bit of a shopping spending ban for the next couple of months. I will write up a little post to let you know what is off limits for me and some more details!
Let me know what you have been purchasing recently in the comments below :)
I defiantly thought Victoria secrets would be more expensive then that, that seems good value. There's one opening in the new trinity shopping center in Leeds soon an i can't wait x

Yep the actual VS range is a little more pricey but the PINK range is great and not too badly priced! Of course it is cheaper in the US! :)
