Make Up | Clinique Chubby Stick in Plumped Up Pink

Plumped Up Pink is the limited edition Clinique Chubby Stick which was released in October to support Breast Cancer Awareness. I was lucky enough to receive one for Christmas from my lovely Grandma. She told me that she hunted it down, found it in Boots and bought the last three ones they had in stock! Bless her :)

This is the first of the Clinique Chubby Sticks I have tried and I can now understand why they are raved about so often. Chubby Sticks (I do hate this name!) are super easy to apply using the large crayon like pencil to apply. It is twist up so no sharpening is needed and you minimise waste and mess. The formula is between a lip balm and a gloss but I find that it applies better if I put some lip balm on my lips first. My lips get very dry in the winter. The colour is beautiful, you can apply is lightly as I have or build it up for more of a punch. It is the perfect day to night colour as it would not look out of place for any occasion.

A £16 a pop the Chubby Sticks aren't cheap but I think they are the perfect addition to your handbag for on the go.

Have you tried any Clinique Chubby Sticks? Let me know your thoughts!

  1. Lovely shade - it really suits you! :)

My sister has a few of these and she's pretty impressed with them, I'm quite tempted to try one myself - it's deciding which shade to go for first!

    1. It can be a little drying but it is fine if you pop some lip balm on first! :)

  7. I love the colour Jayne - shame it was a limited edition. I've not tried Chubby Sticks yet (probably will after the spending ban is over!) but am curious to see how they compare to the Revlon Balm Stains xx
