If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram (@jaynebecca) you may have noticed that Matt and I took a trip down to Devon for the weekend. I love escaping to Devon, the winding country roads reminds me of home and it is good to breath in the fresh air. We went to visit Matt's family as I won't see them again until after Christmas so we spent the weekend catching up and maybe eating Matt's Mum's famous chocolate cake!
On Saturday we went to the Ruby Country Market at Hatherleigh. I had never been before but the market was amazing. I think it was especially good as it is on the run up to Christmas so there were lots of lovely craft and jewellery stalls. I picked up a super cute Christmas decoration with reindeer - I can't resist reindeer! There is a sneak peek in the photo above, I will reveal it in full at the weekend, as we are putting our decorations up. I will make sure to take some photos!
Sunday was a bit of a lazy day. The weather was a bit of a wash out so we sat by the fire, played with Daisy (the dog) and ate roast dinner! Daisy is super cute. She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and you wouldn't believe that she is going to be eleven in January! She is the soppiest dog and loves nothing more than to sit on your lap.
As I'm not really a fashion blogger I thought I'd show you what I wear on basically a daily basis. I am in love with my Topshop Leigh Jeans in wine. They were £38.00 and worth every penny! They are seriously the most comfortable and flattering pair of jeans I have owned in a long time. I adore the dark burgundy colour which is perfect for winter this year. I have been pairing them with usually a Hollister hoodie (mine is sold out unless you can find it in store but this is similar), a cotton top such as the striped Abercrombie one above or an off the shoulder t-shirt and a cardigan. On my feet I have been wearing ankle boots and if it is extra cold out I have been loving my Fat Face Gemma Gilet. I got the gilet for Christmas last year but they have them back in stock for this winter too! It is so warm and I love it for cold, frosty days.
