Skincare | My Current Cleansing Routine

I have finally settled down into a cleansing routine which I am happy with and which works for me. Usually I am always switching things up but my skin seems to behave better when I don't use too many different products. I have been using these products for about five weeks now and my combination skin seems to be happy with them. As the weather changes my skin changes too so I have been using this simple cleansing routine to keep it looking clear and healthy.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish £14.95 /100ml | I have been using the Special Edition Cleanse & Polish which I bought when it was first released. I love the added rose and lavender which smells divine -- perfect for evening cleansing! I use this in the evenings to thoroughly cleanse my skin and remove make up. It leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh and looking healthy. It works exactly the same as the original cleanse and polish using a hot cloth to gently remove dead skin cells, make up and impurities.

Yes To Carrots Nourishing Exfoliating Cleanser  £8.99 /100ml | This is my go to cleanser for the morning --I tend to use it while I am in the shower. This is the first product I have tried from the Yes To range and I am impressed. They use natural ingredients, which is something I always look for in skincare, and do not add anything that is not needed. It is a rich creamy cleansing which feels quite luxurious on the skin, you only need to use a small amount -- a little goes a long way! The ingredients include organic carrots which are full of Beta-Carotene, this is a natural antioxidant that helps protect the skin from free radicals and Shea Butter which restores the skins suppleness and protects the skin from dehydration. The cleanser also has tiny bamboo particles in which gently exfoliates the skin removing dead skin cells leaving your skin feeling balanced and nourished.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic £12.50 /200ml | I use the Liz Earle Skin Tonic after cleansing in both the morning and evening. I love it as it finishes off my cleansing routine by removing any lingering make up and it also refreshes and soothes my skin. It restores balance to my skin and it also great for waking you up in the mornings! I always find my skin looks brighter after using this. It also good for using under make up.

I am very happy with my cleansing routine at the moment and my skin seems to be happy that I am not switching products every five minutes!

  1. I've never tried anything from the Yes To range but that cleanser sounds lovely. I have a few to use up at the moment but will definitely consider picking it up in the future :)

  3. That exfoliating cleanser sounds really good, I haven't tried anything from that range before but I'm pretty tempted now! I'm using the limited edition cleanse and polish in the evening at the moment as well, my normal cleanse and polish has run out so I'm just trying out a few samples of things from beauty boxes for now :) xx
