So as you can see I have been doing some shopping lately -- apart from the jacket which was a birthday present from my Mam! I thought I would share a few pieces with you which I bought from H&M recently. As you will know if you read my Lana Del Rey For H&M post I was eagerly awaiting the appearance of this collection in store, unfortunately it was released a week before pay day -- how mean! -- so I ordered the mint green jumper online and waited until I could go shopping to have a look at the rest! 

I managed to pick up one of the light pink jumpers which was splashed all over the billboards. I was super lucky as it was the last one in a size small and I had not seen them the week before so I practically ran to the till! I love this jumper, it is so soft and warm and it will be perfect for chilly winter days. It is slightly oversized so looks cute with leggings or skinny jeans and boots. 

I wasn't sure about the floral peplum blouse when I first saw it on the rail but after a little persuasion from my lovely boyfriend I went and tried it on. For reference the sizing of these tops is slightly small -- I am usually a size 8 but I bought a 10 in this top so I would size up. Is it just me or is H&M sizing generally a bit small? Anyway, this top looks lovely paired with black skinny trousers and heels or you can dress it down with jeans and flats. 

I love this jacket! Again I wasn't sure about it at first but after my Mam approved she bought it for me as part of my belated birthday present. It smartens any outfit up and I have been wearing this to work quite a lot and I have got a few compliments, which is always nice! 

Yes I bought the crazy floral leggings! Completely not my usual style at all however I thought that for £9.99 I couldn't go wrong! I have worn them with both the pink and green jumpers above and they look cute with my black ankle boots. They are something which are very different for me but if you have the confidence to pull them off they work!

Finally I got a bit of a bargain with the neon pink dress. I was hunting for it ever since I saw Veronika from Veronika's Blushing wearing it however I couldn't find it. I finally spotted it on the sale rack for £7 and I thought it was a great deal as it will be perfect for summer next year. By the way if you don't read Veronika's blog you should do -- she is such a lovely person and has amazing style!

    I'd agree that H & M are a little on the small size. i tried on the jacket, but it wasn't quite right on me I thought- wish Id tried again now!!

      Yes I tried it a few times, mostly because it is different from what I would usually wear. I am so glad I got it though x

      Haha no I am sure you haven't! It does run small in the 'sized' things but size 'small' items fit me perfectly. So strange! x
