I was invited to attend the Live Blogging Show at Bristol Fashion Week which was held at Cribbs Causeway last Friday afternoon. I was super excited to attend as it was my first blogger event so I left work slightly early and rushed to get up to the mall for the event. I arrived just in time to collect my pass and indulge in some buck's fizz and a mini chocolate muffin before the show began.
The show was hosted by Andrew Barton and Mark Heyes who were very entertaining. The catwalk was full of must have trends for the Autumn/ Winter with all of the outfits and accessories showcased from the huge range of stores at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway. So the best part is you could go out and purchase the pieces you had just seen on the catwalk if you desired! The models were a a good mix of ages, shapes and sizes showing that fashion is indeed for everyone. We saw ranges from John Lewis, Marks and Spencer Ann Summers, Next, River Island, Coast, New Look and Karen Millen -- affordable high street fashion. I especially loved the oriental theme which showed that floral prints can be worn well into Autumn/ Winter.
Overall the show was great fun with models who got the crowd going Lots of music, dancing and fabulous lighting. If you are in the Bristol area I highly recommend paying a visit to Bristol Fashion Week S/S 2013.
After the show I picked up my goody bag, met up with my boyfriend and headed to H&M to buy another cosy jumper for winter! I can't get enough of jumpers at the moment but the weather has once again warmed up so I can't wear them yet -- but I am prepared.
A big thanks to Amy at The Mall for the Blogging Pass -- I had a great time and look forward to next season!
What trends are you loving for the Autumn/ Winter this year?
