Another week has flown by! I am glad we are out of January and into February, the nights are getting lighter and it isn't long until spring! It will be holiday and bikini season before we know it! Just remember if you are dragging yourself out for a run or to the gym in the dark and cold just think about how much you will thank yourself later when it is bikini time :)
I've had a good week, I got two great runs in at the weekend even breaking a personal best for the mile on Saturday ~ 8 minutes 46 seconds! I honestly wasn't going for a record time I was just enjoying the sunshine. I also managed to solve my blister problem this week. I bought some Asics Kayano socks and they seem to have done the trick, although the skin on my feet is still a little raw they haven't blistered even after a 5 mile run. Yay!
I am also LOVING spinning! I honestly wish that I had started it sooner, it is so much fun and a great sweat session. You really feel like you have worked hard. It's great to mix up the cardio as well because I usually run spinning makes a nice change. If like me you are nervous about joining a new class just do it! There will be other people who are new to the class too and the instructors are always willing to help.
