January Favourites

Happy Sunday ladies! Did you get a little bit of sunshine yesterday? We did here in the South West and let tell you you it really brightened up my mood. I am generally a pretty upbeat person anyway but for some reason a little bit of sunshine makes everything a whole lot brighter. I went for a short two mile run and ended up dancing round the living room to Swedish House Mafia ~ LOVE it! I have also painted my nails a gorgeous bright pink today ~ can you tell I am craving summer?! Anyway, today I thought I would share with you some January favourites as I have discovered some lovely new products the past month!

Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara £9.99 | This has been a firm favourite of mine, I have used this mascara every single day this past month and a half. It's a great product, I cannot rate it highly enough. I have tried mascaras which are higher end than this high street brand and they don't work as well as this one. You can read my full review here

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer £5.49 | What a bargain of a product. I love this concealer. Although I haven't tried the highly raved about Wake Me Up Foundation I thought I would give the concealer a whirl. It applies with ease using the wand, which I prefer to dipping your finger in a pot. It really brightens the under eye area and conceals dark circles. After trying this concealer I am keen to give the foundation a go. I just need to use up what I have first ;)

Sukin facial Moisturiser £8.12 | This was one of the many products I was lucky enough to get in my Australian Beauty Box and I love it. It sinks straight into your skin and smells lovely. I will write up a full review of the Sukin products I have been using soon but I absolutely adore this brand! As it is an Australian product I have been looking as to where I can purchase it and I found it here for £8.12 on eChemist.co.uk. As I have never used this website before I am reluctant to make a purchase ~ has anyone used this website before?

Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner £8.12 | Again another Sukin product! I have used almost half of this little 50ml bottle in less than a month. It is perfect for spraying on your face after removing make up or having a shower. It contains camomile and rosewater to help soothe, tone and cool tired skin. I also love to use it in the mornings to wake me up. Again I found it for £8.12 from eChemist.co.uk

Smashbox Soft Lights in Prism £23.00 | This has been my go to blush this past month. As my skin has returned back to it's pale Eastern European roots I like to use a soft blush as I find anything else it 'too much'. This for me is perfect. It adds a subtle flush of colour to my cheeks. It isn't the cheapest of products but a little goes a long way!

Clinique All About Eyes Serum £20.00 | A Christmas gift from my Grandma! On one of my visits to her and my Grandad over Christmas she commented that my eyes looked puffy (thanks Grandma!), swiftly popped into her bathroom and came back with this. I have been using it everyday since, morning and night. I do suffer from dark circles and 'tired' looking eyes if I don't get enough sleep so this little product helps me combat them along with a good eye cream! I love the cooling feeling of the roller ball and it helps wake up my eyes in the morning.

I hope that you have all had a fab weekend. Let me know what your favourite products have been this month!

  5. Lovely favourites. I picked up the Rimmel Concealer today & I am excited to see how it works for me. I too love the Grow Luscious Mascara although I have it in brown (bummer). But have still been enjoying it & it makes my lashes look so long
