Haul! | Topshop, Boots & Feel Unique

Happy Pancake Day! Did you make your pancakes? I did! I am in a pretty crazy happy mood today for no particular reason ~ it's not even Friday yet :) Today I thought that I was share with you a couple of bits and bobs I have purchased this past week. I have been super good with my spending recently as I am saving up for our holiday but I decided to treat myself to some things I have had my eye on. 

First stop was good old Boots! After seeing everyone raving so much about Rimmel Apocalips I had to get my hands on them to see what all the fuss is about. I was lucky in that all the colours were in stock when I went to the stand, so I picked up the two colours I liked the look of the most ~ Celestial and Big Bang. Celestial is the perfect everyday pink for me and I wore it when I was out on Saturday night. Big Bang is a bit of a brave step but I decided that it was about time that I took a leap of faith and got myself a bright classic red lip colour. As there was a 3 for 2 going on and I was in need of a new mascara I decided to get the Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara to try. It is pretty good but I don't like it as much as the Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara. 

Next up, Topshop! Topshop is honestly in my opinion very over priced. I remember when I was a teenager in the late 90s (haha!) that Topshop was not all that expensive and growing up in my little seaside town it was my main stop for new clothes. I do however love their Leigh Jeans and I had my heart set on the bright blue ones, so off I trotted into Topshop. The picture above does them no justice and I had worn them the night before ~ hence the creases! They are so soft and are a skinny fit but comfortable. In my mind they are the perfect pair of skinny jeans! The Red Fleck Oversized Top was a complete impulse buy on the way to the till. I was eyeing up the grey/ blue one but on the spur of the moment I thought to myself that I should get the red one. Just to be different from anything else I own. So I picked up my size without even trying it on. I am glad I did because I love it. It is perfect paired with my new jeans and will be great to wear once the weather warms up or you can wear it now with layers. Here is a picture of me posing in the mirror but you get the idea of how the outfit looks.

Earlier in the week I was reading Evelyn's January Favourites and her post reminded me that I was after the Korres Jasmine Lip Butter. So made a quick online purchase! It is a simple but lovely lip butter which leaves a natural sheen to the lips. Perfect for this time of the year. I currently keep this by my bed and use it morning and night. 

I also bought the Soap Glory Heel Genius foot cream a couple of weeks ago but I forgot to include it in my pictures ~ oops! I picked it up as my poor feet have taken a hammering recently due to all the running I have been doing. So I thought that this would be a good investment for getting them into ship shape condition for the summer. After all I basically live in flip flops from April to September!
