Motivation Monday | Love Your Body Week 4 Update

Hello everyone! I can't believe that we have already got to week five of the Tone It Up Love Your Body challenge. It seems to be going by super quick and I am loving every minute. I look forward to waking up in the early morning and getting my workout in. It really does set me up for the day! 

So as you will know we had some pretty horrible weather this past week. Ice and snow is not good! So it was nice to wake up on Sunday morning and finally be able to get out for a run. I tried out my new Under Armour Cold Gear Leggings which I got for the bargain price of £8.77! The blue ones which I bought have now sold out but they do have the black ones in stock for £17.99 which is still a good price. I was pleased that I got in a 4 and a half mile run however my feet disagreed with me and I am now sporting two huge blisters ~ lovely! Next time I go out I will try running with no socks as I think I might have too much support in the arch of my foot causing the blisters. Anyway enough of my silly feet! 

I tried spinning for the first time on Friday and I loved it! I was very nervous about going somewhere new by myself but there was something K&K said last week which encouraged me to get over my anxiety and just go. 'We know it can be scary going to a new class by yourself, but just DO IT!!! Karena and I met at the gym... so we are ALL for trying new things and meeting new people!! It changed our lives :)' For me this really hit home as I have always struggled going to places I don't know or even calling people and places on the telephone. I get super nervous to the point where I am sweating. Not pleasant I know but I am being honest here. I know there are people that suffer from anxiety a lot more that what I do but I thought I would share my experience. I am going back to spin class next Friday :)

  1. Aww I am so glad that I have stumbled upon your blog. I have been trying to lose weight this year. I need to get my fitness up but I hate exercising because I am big but if I don't exercise then obviously I won't lose weight. I am aiming to go to the gym tomorrow and thanks for this post as it has made me wanna go :) Newest follower and looking forward to more fitness/diet post :) x

  2. Did your ass wreck the next day? Everyone moans the first time they do spin that their legs hurt but for me it was my bum? I think my legs are ok cos they are strong anyway but omg my bum....! Insane pain!
    I was well lazy last week, oops. Back on it this week.

    1. Yep my bum was sore! Legs were okay, felt like they had worked but nothing out of the ordinary! Looking forward to going again this week :)
