This scrub has been a saviour to my skin during the past few weeks. My skin seems to turn from oily/ combination in the summer to full on dry/ sensitive but 'might still break out on you when you least expect it' during the winter. It is the worst time of the year for my skin. If anyone else has this issue please let me know because I would love to know how you cope with it!
So anyway, Lush Ocean Salt is a facial scrub as the label suggests but you can use it all over your body too. The ingredients include ~ sea salt, organic limes, grapefruit infusion and avocado butter. The mix is antiseptic which is great for break outs, the sea salt acts as an exfoliator sloughing away dead skin cells and the avocado butter leaves it feeling moisturised and soft. It has a zesty, salty scent which reminds me of holiday cocktails (take me back there!).
It does have a very abrasive texture so I wouldn't use this if your skin is super sensitive however, it works for my temperamental skin and I love it! I use it once or twice a week to give my skin a good scrub and cleanse. My skin feels really clean after using this and it is the only thing which successfully removes the dry skin in my T-zone area at the moment.
As I have just ran out of my tub of Ocean Salt I will be repurchasing a new one! You can find this online or in your local Lush shop for £6.95/ 100g or £12.95/ 250g.
Glad this scrub worked for you as I didn't really get on with it! It really stung my skin and felt too harsh. I ended up using it as a body scrub instead :)
