It is that time of year when the cold weather and central heating play havoc with your skin. We are also more inclined to take hot baths to warm up, especially if like me you spend a lot of time outdoors playing with horses! I seem to have built up a little collection of body butters so I thought I would tell you about my three favourites.
Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter £10.50 | Firstly, this smells so good! If you love Soap and Glory products you will know exactly what I mean, it's the famous Soap and Glory fragrance. This body butter is lightweight and sinks straight into your skin. I love to use this just after having a shower or bath while my skin is still wet. You only need to use a small amount as a little goes a long way. Boots always have some kind of 3 for 2 deal going to with Soap and Glory so this is one to pick up if you haven't tried it before.
Betty Hula Rum & Blackcurrent Shea Butter Body Cream* £9.82 | I have mentioned this one several times before. It is a lovely thick, luxurious cream which has a 'whipped' consistency. It smells like a holiday ~ cocktails and coconut! I love to use this one on the very dry areas of my skin such as my feet and elbows.
Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter £23.00 | I love this huge tub of body butter, the simple Clinique packaging looks lovely in any bathroom. It is unscented which is great for if you want to wear a perfume and you don't want your moisturiser scent to clash. At the moment I love wearing my Flowerbomb perfume so this is the perfect body butter to use. It is a thick cream but sinks into your skin straight away leaving it soft and perfectly moisturised. A little goes a long way so don't let the price tag put you off as this will last for a while!
What are your favourite winter body butters?
I love Clinique's Deep Comfort Body Butter. It's one of the best that i tried so far. :D

I love the Jergens cocoa butter, it's so light but really moisturising at the same time so it's perfect for both day and night. Really want to try the clinique one now though!

The Clinique one sounds lovely - looks like a big tub & would last a long time. I love the S&G butter - it smells amazing
ReplyDeleteI haven't used it in quite a while, but I remember really loving the Clinique Deep Comfort body butter. Such a nice texture and, as you mentioned, with a neutral scent you can layer it with other scents :)
