October Favourites

Happy November everyone! I hope you all had a spooky Halloween yesterday, I carved my very first pumpkin and we watched Friday the 13th (the 2009 one!). Now that Halloween is over I can start thinking about Christmas, I love Christmas shopping! This month has flown by yet again and it is time for October Favourites!

St Ives Blemish Fighting Facial Scrub £3.99 | This is an old favourite of mine which I used to use when I was in my late teens. They have recently repackaged the brand and produced some new formulas for different skin types. I have been using the 'Blemish Fighting' version for just over a month now and I remember why I used to love it so much! This scrub is oil free and also has salicylic acid in which is known for it's blemish fighting properties. Now that winter is almost here my skin tends to get dry in the cheeks so this scrub is perfect for buffing away dead skin cells. Great price too!

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic £12.50 | I cannot express quite how much I love this skin tonic from Liz Earle, I featured it in my September FavouritesMy Cleansing Routine and Bedside Beauty. So yes, I like it a lot! I highly recommend this product for refreshing your skin, adding moisture and restoring balance.

Pai Echium Eye Cream £22.00 | I actually got this eye cream free as a gift with purchase but it is full sized, just goes to show - shop around for those good deals ladies! I will be writing a full review of this eye cream soon, I have been using it for about a month now and it really makes a difference to my eyes. Now I am in my 30s I am extra conscious of taking care of the delicate eye area. Lovely product, no nasty chemicals and suitable for the even the most sensitive of skins.

Liz Earle Special Edition Cleanse & Polish £19.75 | Another product which will come as no surprise to you since I have been banging on about it since I bought it! I love this hot cloth cleanser, perfect for removing make up at the end of the day, my skin always feels fresh, clean but never with that 'tight' feeling that you get with some cleansers. Love love love! If you haven't tried it yet I suggest you treat yourself to the Special Edition before it is gone.

MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study £14.50 | Another old favourite. I have been using this as a primer on most days this month. Bare Study is a beautiful shimmery champagne colour which makes the perfect base for my Urban Decay Naked Palette shadows. I like to use it as a highlight in the inner corners of the eye as well. Just to let you know if you are thinking about purchasing a paint pot, I have had this one since March and have only made a small dent into it, you only need to use small amounts so this will last you for ages.

Real Techniques Stippling Brush £11.99 | This brush is worth the hype that surrounds it. I was a bit unsure before I purchased it but once I tried it out I was sold! Perfect for applying foundation for a quick but flawless finish and great for buffing it into your skin.

So those are my favourites for October - what are yours?
