I love coffee and I must spend a fortune in coffee shops - Starbucks I am looking at you! So what do I do when I can't go out for coffee? I make my own! I thought that I would share this easy recipe with you so if you love your coffee like I do you can make your own lattes at home. I don't own an espresso machine or a coffee maker of any kind so this is very much a back to basics recipe.
You will need:
- Milk - which ever kind you wish to use: almond, skimmed, semi skimmed, soy.
- Coffee - I use Millicano
- Hot Water
- Cinnamon
- A milk frother
Method
- Pour enough milk to make the desired number of lattes into a small pan. I measure the milk in the mug I will be serving it in then pour it in. Heat milk being careful not to burn.
- Make up a shot of coffee using hot water. Basically making your own espresso!
- When the milk is heated use the milk frother to froth the milk.
- Pour the milk into your mug with the coffee shot and add lots of cinnamon on the top.

I made myself one of these on Sunday night! It tastes so good! Although I tried it again with ginger last night and it wasn't as nice xx
ReplyDeleteOoh I'm not keen on ginger but cinnamon is lovely! Going to have to try a mocha as well!
