Nails | Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter

My nails are awful - they split, they crack, they break - and I am a notorious nail biter. Naughty I know but it is a habit that I have never managed to break -- I am working on it! I was on the look out for a cuticle cream as I thought that my nails could do with some TCL after all the trauma I put them through.

So I introduced them to Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter and they have honestly never looked better. This product is chock full of different oils and shea butter which are combined to make a lovely soft, thick cream formula. Which of course smells like lemon! At first it feels a little greasy but once you work it into your cuticles it begins to sink in and really conditions them. I like to use it after removing my nail polish. I will then let the cuticle butter sink in for a couple of hours or overnight before repainting my nails.

For me this product has worked wonders on my nails. They certainly look healthier and stronger which means I am less tempted to bite them. I am getting better! I have also used this product on the hard skin on my feet (from running) and the rough skin on my elbows. It has improved the condition on my skin in these areas too -- a multitasking product!

You can purchase Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter from Lush for £6.25 for 50g.

Have you got any tips for making nails stronger?

  12. I've never tried this, I usually just use petroleum jelly around my cuticles when they are super dry. This sounds like it smells amazing.
