This is my go-to everyday eye make-up. I find it quick and easy to apply and it is very natural looking. perfect for the office or an everyday natural look! This may seem like a lot of steps but it takes me less than ten minutes in the morning.
- Apply Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion all over the lid. How I managed without this little miracle product before I do not know! It prevents creasing and makes your eyeshadow last longer.
- With your ring finger place Chanel's Illusion d’Ombre in Émerveillé (#82) all over the lid. As you can see from my photographs I have used this a lot! This is a long wear cream eyeshadow which is a peach with a subtle golden sparkle.
- Use a thin eye liner brush to line the top lashes with MAC Fluidline gel eye liner in 'Dipdown' getting as close to the lash line as possible. If I am going to wear an eye liner through the day I usually use brown rather than black. I think it gives a much softer appearance and is more natural for me as a blonde.
- Using the Urban Decay Naked Palette -- take the shade 'Buck' into the crease. This opens up the eye and gives it some definition. Use 'Virgin' in the inner corners of the eye to brighten the eyes and make you look more awake.
- Finally to complete the look use lashings of mascara! I am currently using Bourjois Volume Glamour Max Mascara -- which I have previously written a full review on -- I think that this is a great high street mascara and really lengthens lashes.
I like to keep my make-up pretty simple and natural in general. You could vamp this look up for the evening by making it a smoky eye or adding a bit more shimmer but for me on a daily basis this works! I don't find that it slides, creases or slips and it is pretty much intact by the end of my working day.
What products do you use for your everyday eye makeup?

ReplyDeleteMy go to eye most days is something very similar. I like to wear some eye makeup but like it to be subtle and low key. My UD palette gets alot of use. I really want to try the Chanel Illusion d’Ombre I swatched some the other day & loved the. I need to save some pennies and get a couple.
ReplyDeleteI only have the one which is why I went for one which I could use on a daily basis. Everyone went crazy for the sparkly black one but for me Émerveillé is the winner :)
DeleteGoing to try this out for myself. It looks lovely!! xxx
