Bronzer & Blush | NARS Laguna and Sleek Rose Gold

So I mentioned in my July Favourites yet again about how much I love my NARS Laguna Bronzer and that I ought to write a post about it. However as there are so many great reviews written about this product already I have decided to share with you my current 'go to' bronzer and blush combo.


I was recently out shopping up at the mall and decided to pop into Superdrug on the off chance that the Sleek Rose Gold Blush was in stock and lucky me it was! If you have ever tried to hunt this blush down you will know that it is notorious for always being out of stock -- I lost count at how many times I went into Superdrug searching for this! Since I finally managed to purchase one I haven't worn any other blush.

NARS Laguna Bronzer is the perfect shade for my skin tone. It adds a lovely glow to the skin and never looks 'muddy' or orange on my skin. It does have a little bit of shimmer so if you prefer a completely matte bronzer maybe this isn't for you. I love how the Sleek Rose Gold Blush perfectly compliments the Laguna bronzer as it too has a slight shimmer. Rose Gold adds a healthy flush of colour to my cheeks.


I find that this combo is super easy to apply. I use my good old Boots Number 7 Powder and Blush brushes which I have had forever -- yes I need new ones, any suggestions let me know! I apply the Laguna Bronzer first to the contours of my cheeks, a tiny bit down the side of my nose and a dash on my temples. I then apply the Rose Gold Blush to the apples of my cheeks and viola! perfect make up.

    Laguna is my favourite and Rose Gold is so beautiful! I have a very similar shade from the Sleek 'Lace' palette and I actually prefer it to NARS Orgasm!! Xx.
