August Empties | Products I've Used Up

So I've actually managed to use up some products this month - hurray! I find it quite difficult to use products up sometimes because I have about three on the go at once. Like my three cleansers I am currently using! Ooops. I also used up my Soap and Glory Clean On Me shower gel a while ago but I recycled the bottle already.

Caudalie Cleansing Water (£18.00 for 400ml) | I really like this product. I think that it is a good cleansing water which does what it says on the tin -- removes make up and refreshes your skin. You can read my full review here
Repurchase? Yes but for bunny friendly purposes and because I want to try something new I am going to give the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic a whirl!

Get Fresh Naked Minty Menthol Body Wash (£3.98 for 250ml) | This body wash reminds me a bit of the Original Source Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel only it isn't quite as minty! This shower gel leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed which is what you want from a shower gel! I love the minty smell as well. However I did seem to use it up super quick but I think that is because it is only a 250ml bottle.
Repurchase? Yes.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer  (£4.19) | This concealer is talked about a lot as being one of the best high street concealers around. I was slightly disappointed with this concealer as it wasn't as good as I expected. I found it went a bit cakey if you weren't careful.
Repurchase? No.

Right Guard Deodorant Women's Aloe Sensitive (£2.89 for 250ml) | I swear I run a couple of degrees hotter than a normal person. I am always getting too hot and my metabolism goes mental once I have eaten a meal. This is the best deodorant I have found that actually stops me sweating or at least reduces it.
Repurchase? Yes because it is the only one that works for me.

Lush Love Lettuce Face Mask (£5.95 for 75g) | I was planning on writing a review on this face mask but I used it all up before I could photograph it! Yes it was that good. I got quite a few uses out of this little tub as you don't need much product for it to do it's thing. Love Lettuce is very cooling on the skin and has plenty of lavender oil in it which gives it a lovely smell and also calms skin and reduces redness.
Repurchase? Yes.

VO5 Give Me Moisture Shampoo (£1.99 for 250ml) | I seem to have been trying to use this shampoo for ages! I found that it worked pretty well for my hair and left it feeling soft and manageable.
Repurchase? No because I am trying to avoid products with sodium lauryl sulfate in them.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil Free Moisturiser (£4.60 for 50ml) | I picked this moisturiser up ages ago mostly because I needed one right away and it was oil free. It is a pretty good moisturiser and the product sinks straight into your skin. Good for people with oily/ combination skin.
Repurchase? No because it has five different parabens in.

What are your empties this month?

  1. SLS is a nightmare isn't it! Actually in everything lol. I still buy/use things with it in it but definitely a big bonus when it's not there! And 5 parabens is a bit much!!! xx

    1. I know! I'm using the Naked Blonder shampoo now & it doesn't have SLS in so at least I know their haircare range is okay! & parabens I try to avoid if I can! Five is excessive though!

    1. I think it's good for all skin types. It is formulated to calm & brighten the skin as it has the little almond shells in like the ASOS cleanser. I will have to pick up another one so I can review it!

  5. I want to try the Collection 2000 concealer too, and it's refreshing to find someone who doesn't completely rave about it! I would still like to try it though, I only ever use very minimal amounts of concealer so hopefully it wouldn't get too cakey! xoxo

    1. The Collection 2000 concealer is certainly worth trying if you haven't yet tried it. It's okay but not for me :)

  6. I love how you’re trying to be conscious about chemicals in makeup, that’s a really good thing to be weary of!
